Good salt and excellent drought tolerance

Cold hardy; zones 8 to 11

 

Reclining to upright, thicket-forming palm with evergreen, green, fan-shaped fronds.

Clusters of fragrant, tiny white blooms in spring are followed by black berries in autumn.

Excellent wildlife habitat. Very long-lived. Very low-maintenance.
