Densely branched, compact shrub with a symmetrically round shape;

evergreen in South FL; with small, glossy, dark green leaves.

A profusion of clusters of small white, fragrant flowers in spring

 is followed by black berries that ripen in the fall.

Excellent wildlife attractor.
