Full sun to dense shade

Good salt and drought tolerance;

will tolerate moist, well-drained sandy soil

Zones 9 to 11

 

An upright, narrow shrub or small tree with a neat, symmetrical habit and

 evergreen, dark green, leathery, aromatic leaves with red new growth.

Showy clusters of small, white flowers are followed by purplish-black berries.

Attract birds.
